Women of size 16 and above rarely have the same proportions as those of size 14 and below. Our voluptuous bosoms and curvy hips need careful dressing to flatter, as do strong calves and upper arms. The roominess of cut, for example across the chest and at the arm holes, and the positioning of seams, can make the difference between an enjoyable ride and days of discomfort (in the worst case discomfort for the horse as well as you, if clothing is restricting your position in the saddle, and your flexibility.) The careful design of full seat jods and breeches, in terms of both cut and colours, can reduce the appearance of broad hips, allowing you to wear your riding clothes with confidence.

Special attention to the design and height of waistbands ensures that you can breathe easily in the saddle whilst not coming adrift at the back.
